O procedimento instaurado pelo Ministério Público do Amazonas (MP-AM) que investiga a contratação da cantora Anitta por R$ 500 mil para a Festa dos Visitantes, evento que antecede o Festival Folclórico de Parintins, ainda aguarda a resposta da prefeitura do município. O evento recebeu crítica nacional pelo gasto exorbitante com a atração, após denúncia feita pelo Amazonas1.
De acordo com o MP-AM, a prefeitura tem 15 dias úteis, a contar do recebimento da notificação, para enviar as informações sobre os contratos da festa. O executivo municipal recebeu a solicitação no dia 5 de julho e o prazo se encerra somente no próximo dia 30. A promotoria ainda espera pelos dados da prefeitura para tomar procedimentos cabíveis.
No levantamento realizado pelo Amazonas1, foi constatado que o cachê da cantora ficou 150% mais caro comparado a outras cidades brasileiras. A justificativa apresentada pelo prefeito Bi Garcia era a logística da região.
Entretanto, o fato foi contestado por empresários de eventos que explicaram que a distância e logística aumentam o valor dos shows na região norte. A média cobrada por Anitta é de R$200 mil.
MP não interviu na realização da festa
Mesmo com a repercussão negativa do contrato, o MP-AM não interviu no evento e justificou o aval para o pagamento de meio-milhão como ‘importante’ para a Festa dos Visitantes, por ter um artista de renome internacional em Parintins.
No dia do evento, o órgão limitou-se apenas a pedir que a prefeitura não cobrasse da população um quilo de alimento em troca da pulseira que dava acesso à festa, já que era bancada com verba pública.
As investigações são coordenadas pela promotora Lilian Nara Pinheiro de Almeida, titular da 2ª PJ de Parintins.
Contratação de local suspeita
No mesmo procedimento, o MP-AM também apura legalidade da contratação do local e da infraestrutura usada para a realização da festa. Isso porque o mesmo local da realização do evento atual foi cedido à prefeitura para a festa de 2018, e, em contrapartida à cessão, foram realizadas obras de infraestrutura no terreno, que é de propriedade particular.
