Os vereadores presos são: Kelison Dieb (PMDB) e Jakson Pinheiro (PMN)
Operação Avaritia (Latin: cobiça), com o objetivo de cumprir 2 (dois) mandados de prisão, 15 (quinze) de busca e apreensão, e 15 (quinze) de busca pessoal nas cidades de Manaus e Iranduba. Os alvos de prisão temporária são dois Vereadores daquele município próximo da capital.
O Ministério Público do Estado do Amazonas (MP-AM) cumpre, na manhã desta quinta-feira (8), dois mandados de prisão temporária no nome de Kelison Dieb (PMDB) e Jakson Pinheiro (PMN), vereadores do município de Iranduba, a 27 km de Manaus. Os alvos são suspeitos de participarem de uma organização criminosa que cobrava propina para a aprovação de Projetos de Lei na Câmara Municipal do município.
Segundo o MP-AM, no momento da prisão, o vereador Jakson Pinheiro foi flagrado tentando destruir prova, ao jogar o aparelho celular no vaso sanitário. Ele também foi levado à delegacia.
Kelison, ao ser preso, estava portando uma arma de fogo e, por isso, foi levado para o 19° DIP, localizado na estrada da Ponta Negra, no bairro Santo Agostinho, em Manaus. Aparelhos celulares, HDs e documentos apreendidos foram levados para a sede do Ministério Público. O G1procurou as equipes dos vereadores, mas não conseguiu contato até esta publicação.
Operação Avarita
Com o reforço da Polícia Civil do Amazonas, são cumpridos ainda 15 mandados de busca e apreensão, e 15 de busca pessoal no município e na capital amazonense. Os trabalhos fazem parte da Operação Avarita.
As investigações começaram em dezembro de 2018 pelos Promotores de Justiça do Grupo de Atuação Especial de Combate ao Crime Organizado do Ministério Público (GAECO).
Os nomes dos vereadores implicados e mais informações só serão repassadas na tarde desta quinta-feira, em entrevista coletiva na sede do Ministério Público.
