Bairros das zonas Norte, Sul, Oeste, Centro-Sul e Centro-Oeste de Manaus vão ter o abastecimento de água afetado nesta quarta-feira (28). Segundo a Águas de Manaus, a interrupção é necessária para realizar manutenção na rede elétrica nas proximidades do complexo de Produção de Água da Ponta do Ismael, no bairro Compensa, na Zona Oeste da capital.
Para garantir a segurança operacional durante os trabalhos, as Estações de Tratamento de Água (ETA´s) 1 e 2 precisarão ser desligadas no horário entre 6h e 9h.
O fornecimento de água tratada para a cidade começará a ser normalizado gradativamente em até 24h após a conclusão do serviço e o reestabelecimento da energia elétrica no complexo.
A concessionária Águas de Manaus pede que as pessoas façam uso consciente e, se possível, reservem água tratada para o período. Para minimizar os impactos, atividades que utilizam muita água, como lavagem de roupa, limpeza de casa ou similares devem ser evitadas pela população durante a parada programada.
A concessionária informou que vai monitorar o abastecimento de locais como hospitais, Unidades Básicas de Saúde e escolas nas regiões abrangidas e disponibilizará carros pipa para abastecer estes pontos, caso haja necessidade.
