O juiz Ricardo Sales, da 3 ª Vara da Justiça Federal no Amazonas, condenou o ex-prefeito de Boca do Acre Antonio Iran de Souza Lima a devolver R$ 500 mil ao Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transporte (Dnit) e o multou ainda em R$ 500 mil por irregularidades no uso de recursos públicos federais. A sentença foi publicada na edição desta quinta-feira (5), do Diário Oficial do Tribunal Regional Federal da 1ª Região (TRF1).
Iran foi condenado pela prática de crime de improbidade administrativa. Tanto o valor do ressarcimento e da multa devem ser corrigidos monetariamente, conforme a decisão do juiz.
Em sua decisão, o juiz federal ainda determinou a perda dos direitos políticos pelo prazo de 8 anos ao ex-prefeito de Boca do Acre e a proibição de contratar junto ao poder público ou receber benefícios, incentivos fiscais ou de crédito direta ou indiretamente pelo período de 5 anos.
