Dois postos de combustíveis foram autuados ontem (4), pelo Procon Manaus – estrutura que integra a Secretaria Municipal de Defesa do Consumidor e Ouvidoria (Semdec) -, por aumentarem os preços sem justificativa nos últimos dias. Nas bombas, os consumidores estão pagando de R$ 4,45 a R$ 4,59, o litro.

No primeiro posto fiscalizado, na avenida Djalma Batista, bairro Nossa Senhora das Graças, zona Centro-Sul da capital, foi constatado que o litro da gasolina estava sendo vendido a R$ 4,29 até a última terça-feira (3), mas o valor foi reajustado para R$ 4,49 nesta quarta. “A gasolina é um item essencial e por isso é passível de uma averiguação de preços. Os proprietários dos postos não podem de um dia para o outro fazer um aumento brusco sem que a população esteja preparada para essa oscilação de valores”, disse o secretário-interino da Semdec, Rodrigo Guedes.
André Araújo
No segundo posto visitado, na avenida André Araújo, bairro Aleixo, também na zona Centro-Sul, foi verificado que o litro da gasolina foi reajustado de R$ 3,79 para R$ 4,49. “Um aumento de R$ 0,60 ou R$ 0,70 não é correto, porque não tivemos nenhum reajuste por parte da Petrobras, que justifique esses novos preços da gasolina. Pode ter havido algum aumento na distribuidora, mas nada que embase essa subida dos valores pagos pelo consumidor que são em alguns casos de quase 20%”, observou Guedes.
Penalidades
Um auto de constatação foi lavrado contra os dois postos fiscalizados e as empresas têm um prazo legal de 10 dias para apresentar uma defesa junto ao Procon Manaus. Após a apresentação das alegações o processo administrativo segue para a análise das provas e os postos podem sofrer as penalizações e sanções previstas na legislação que regulamenta essa área, caso seja confirmada a prática de preço abusivo. As fiscalizações seguem nos próximos dias, inclusive durante os feriados dos dias 5 e 7 de setembro, até que todos os postos que aumentaram os valores dos combustíveis de forma abusiva sejam fiscalizados.
