Manaus – Um veículo pegou fogo na Avenida Djalma Batista, no cruzamento com a Darcy Vargas, na zona centro-sul de Manaus, por volta das 17h45 desta sexta-feira (20). A equipe do Corpo de Bombeiros Militares do Amazonas (CBMAM) foi acionada e, de acordo com a corporação, a ocorrência resultou apenas em danos materiais, sem vítimas ou feridos.
O motorista do veículo, uma pick-up modelo S10 LTZ, não quis se identificar, mas disse que o fogo começou de repente. Imagens gravadas e divulgadas por pessoas que passavam no local, no momento do início do ocorrido, mostram o condutor tentando apagar as chamas com o extintor.
“O carro estava novo, não apresentava nenhum problema. Eu estava conduzindo o veículo normalmente quando o carro começou a andar devagar e, de repente, vi o fogo. Eu ainda estacionei e peguei o extintor, mas o fogo estava tão alto que não apagou as chamas. Eu só consegui pegar uns documentos, um dinheiro e sai correndo”, relatou o motorista.
Não há informações sobre o que teria motivado o sinistro.
