De acordo com a Secretaria Municipal de Limpeza Urbana, a expectativa é de que 600 mil pessoas transitem pelos dez cemitérios da cidade – sendo seis na zona urbana e quatro na zona rural
Manaus – Cerca de 600 mil pessoas devem visitar, ao longo de todo este sábado (2), Dia dos Finados, os cemitérios da capital do Estado, de acordo com a Secretaria Municipal de Limpeza Urbana (Semulsp). Ainda ao longo do dia, missas estão sendo realizadas de hora em hora nas capelas dentro dos cemitérios e em igrejas da cidade. A população mantém a tradição de rezar e orar pelos que já morreram e visitar túmulos de familiares e amigos.
Ainda conforme a Semulsp, os serviços de limpeza foram reforçados nos últimos dias, devido a grande quantidade de visitação nos cemitérios São João Batista, Santo Alberto, Nossa Senhora da Piedade, Santa Helena, Parque Tarumã e São Francisco.
“O nosso trabalho é garantir o bom funcionamento dos serviços, fazendo com que tudo funcione da melhor maneira possível para que os familiares possam visitar os entes queridos. Atendemos dez cemitérios, sendo seis urbanos e quatro rurais”, destacou Danielly Soares, diretora do Departamento de Cemitérios, da Semulsp.
Os cemitérios rurais são: Nossa Senhora do Carmo, Nossa Senhora da Conceição das Lajes, Santa Joana do Puraquequara e São José do Jatuarana. “Estamos com apoio da Policia Militar, Corpo de Bombeiros, Instituto Municipal de Mobilidade Urbana, coleta seletiva, além das paróquias e agentes de limpezas”, salientou Danielly.
Segundo a vendedora Rut Eva, 56, a procura por velas e flores aumentou este ano. Para ela, que trabalha há mais de 40 anos em um barraca, no Cemitério São João Batista, o Dia de Finados significa “renascimento”.
“Deus venceu a morte, temos que crer, a morte não é tudo. Flores e velas são muito vendidas e procuradas, elas têm um significado especial e simbólico. As flores representam a vida eterna que desejamos aos entes queridos, as velas representam a luz divina, iluminando aquelas almas que partiram. Neste ano, estamos vendendo bastante, as vendas melhoraram muito”, frisou
Agentes do Instituto Municipal de Mobilidade Urbana (MMU) estão auxiliando no trânsito. Na zona centro-sul, a Avenida Álvaro Maia está interditada entre as ruas Maceió e Santos Dumont. Os ônibus que tem acesso, estão desviando na Rua Major Gabriel acessando a Avenida Ayrão e entrando na Santos Dumont.
