Marcos Mion trabalhou junto com a comunidade autista para a aprovação
O Senado Federal aprovou, na quarta-feira (11), a Lei Romeo Mion, que cria a Carteira Nacional de Identificação do Autista. Ela levou o nome do filho mais velho do apresentador Marcos Mion, que atuou ativamente em favor da lei.
Mion comemorou a aprovação em suas redes sociais e se mostrou muito emocionado e agradecido.
– É uma sensação difícil de explicar, me dediquei incansavelmente atuando nos bastidores para a aprovação da lei, somando ao trabalho destemido, de décadas, de todas organizações e movimentos autistas! – celebrou.
O apresentador também agradeceu a Jesus Cristo pela conquista e estendeu uma homenagem à comunidade autista.
– Essa não é uma conquista que eu conseguiria sozinho, tem o trabalho de todos ativistas, a emoção de todos pais e mães de autistas, além dos próprios autistas que receberam meu anjo Romeo, eu e nossa família na comunidade com tanto carinho e admiração – agradeceu o apresentador.
Em seu Instagram, ele publicou um vídeo especial ao saber da aprovação da lei.
O texto da lei também dá prioridades aos autistas em atendimentos. O PL precisa da aprovação do presidente Jair Bolsonaro.
