Em maio do ano passado, o governador anunciou medidas de economia e disse que os gastos com diárias e passagens a servidores deveriam ser reduzidos em pelo menos 30%, em relação ao que foi desembolsado em 2018.
A gestão do governador do Amazonas Wilson Lima (PSC), em seu primeiro ano, pagou R$ 2.343.010,28 mais que a gestão de seu antecessor com diárias de viagens. De acordo com o Portal da Transparência do Estado, em 2018 foram gastos R$ 27.543.739,14, contra R$ 29.886.749,42 em 2019. O governador recebeu R$ 243.918,63 com diárias em 2019, ou 5 vezes mais que o ex-governador Amazonino Mendes, que recebeu R$ 48.548,63, em 2018. A Secretaria de Estado da Casa Civil, que paga as diárias dos governadores e suas comitivas, gastou R$ 612.810,23 em 2019, contra R$ 166.528,43 em 2018.
Em maio do ano passado, Wilson Lima anunciou medidas de economia e disse que os gastos com diárias e passagens a servidores deveriam ser reduzidos em pelo menos 30%, em relação ao que foi desembolsado em 2018.E que, no prazo máximo de 30 dias, os órgãos do Governo deveriam apresentar a relação anual dos eventos de viagens programados, com estimativa de quantidades de servidores que deverão participar, o objeto da viagem e o custo com diárias e passagens.
De acordo com o Porta da Transparência, Wilson Lima fez 34 viagens, contra 5 do antecessor. Wilson Lima recebeu R$ 45.426,60 em diárias pela viagem que fez a Roma, na Itália, de 21 a 30 do mês passado, para participar da 1ª Cúpula de Governadores da Pan-Amazônia e da missa de encerramento da Assembleia Especial do Sínodo para a Pan-Amazônia. No total, foram aproximadamente 100 dias em viagens oficiais, relatadas como “a Serviço do Governo do Estado”.
O governo do Amazonas já se manifestou sobre as viagens do governador. Disse que não há nenhuma irregularidade em relação às diárias recebidas, cujos valores são estabelecidos em Decreto de 1992 e que a maioria das viagens foi para Brasília (DF), para tratar de assuntos de interesse do Amazonas, com encontros que incluíram reunião com o presidente da República, Jair Bolsonaro, e com ministros de Estado.
No ano passado, a Globo News informou que Wilson Lima fez uma viagem particular, de quatro dias, a Israel, quatro dias após um massacre que deixou mais de 55 mortes nos presídios de Manaus
