Após se reunir com o ministro da Justiça e Segurança Pública, Sergio Moro, na manhã desta sexta-feira (24/01/2020), o presidente da República em exercício, Hamilton Mourão (PRTB), disse que Bolsonaro mudou de opinião quanto ao desmembramento da pasta comandada por Moro.
“O presidente já deixou claro que não está havendo essa situação no momento. Foi talvez fruto daquela reunião com os secretários de segurança pública, que trouxeram essa proposta para ele. Ele acabou comentando isso quando chegou ao Alvorada, na quinta-feira de manhã. E aí, durante a viagem, ele deve ter pensado e mudado de opinião”, pontuou Mourão.
O general da reserva disse também que o ministro não se mostrou abalado com a possibilidade de esvaziamento de suas funções, tendo em vista que o ex-juiz é uma pessoa “acostumada a sofrer pressão”.
“O ministro Moro é uma pessoa muito tranquila, um homem acostumado a sofrer a pressão. Isso aí não abala ele”, destacou o presidente em exercício.
Mourão afirmou já ter conversado com o mandatário do país sobre o assunto e já o aconselhou não retirar as atribuições da Segurança Pública das mãos de Moro. Segundo o militar, a condução do ex-magistrado na pasta representa “um time que está ganhando”.
“Se o presidente perguntar minha opinião, e aliás já conversamos, ele sabe que eu considero que a situação atual que estamos vivendo é um time que está vencendo. Usando aquele velho chavão, time que está ganhando a gente não mexe”, frisou.
“Algumas vezes nós já trocamos ideias a esse respeito. Ele apenas me perguntou e eu respondi a ele que eu considerava que do jeito que está, está bom”, concluiu.
