O presidente Jair Bolsonaro afirmou nesta terça-feira (28) que a atriz Regina Duarte terá liberdade para fazer as mudanças que ela quiser caso aceite assumir a Secretaria Especial da Cultura.
Regina foi convidada para assumir a pasta após a saída de Roberto Alvim, demitido por Bolsonaro após publicar um vídeo parafraseando um ministro da Alemanha nazista.
“Para mim seria excepcional, para ela, ela tem a oportunidade de mostrar realmente como é fazer cultura no Brasil. Ela tem experiência em tudo que vai fazer. Precisa de gente com gestão ao seu lado, tem cargo para isso, vai poder trocar quem ela quiser lá sem problema nenhum. Então tem tudo para dar certo a Regina Duarte”, afirmou Bolsonaro ao chegar ao Palácio da Alvorada.
O presidente não disse quando terá a resposta da atriz sobre o convite feito a ela. Mas informou que eles podem conversar entre esta terça e quarta-feira (29).
Bolsonaro chegou na manhã desta terça em Brasília depois de uma viagem de quatro dias na Índia, onde participou como convidado do Dia da República. “Talvez amanhã [fale com ela]. Amanhã temos um encontro com os sertanejos, eu vou ligar para ela agora à tarde”.
Sem citar nenhum caso específico, disse que Regina está se tornando alvo de críticas. “Ela está tomando pé da situação porque vira vidraça. Já um montão de coisa acontece, [tem que ver] se ela tem disposição realmente”, disse.
Bolsonaro já teve dois encontros com a atriz desde que ela foi convidada para integrar sua equipe. O primeiro deles aconteceu no Rio e o segundo em Brasília, ambos na semana passada.
Após as reuniões, eles disseram que ainda estão em um “noivado” e que Regina está em período de testes para decidir se assumirá a pasta.
A atriz teve contas recusadas na Lei Rouanet por um projeto de 2004, o que gerou dívidas de R$ 319,6 mil com o governo. A artista tem uma empresa chamada A Vida É Sonho Produções Artísticas e captou três financiamentos com base na lei de incentivo a projetos culturais. O valor estimado é R$ 1,4 milhão.
Em março de 2018, a área técnica do extinto Ministério da Cultura reprovou a prestação de contas de um desses projetos, relativos à peça “Coração Bazar”.
Regina, segundo o Diário Oficial da União, captou R$ 321 mil, mas teve contas reprovadas. Foi cobrado dela restituição de R$ 319,6 mil ao Fundo Nacional da Cultura. A produção da peça apresentou recurso.
As contas foram reprovadas por portaria em 2 de março de 2018. Por meio de sua assessoria de imprensa, a Secretaria Especial da Cultura diz que não se pronunciará sobre a irregularidade.
À revista Veja, Regina Duarte respondeu que fará “o que a Justiça mandar”, sobre a reprovação. A reportagem tentou contato com a atriz, mas não obteve resposta.
A Veja também conversou com o filho da artista, André Duarte, que é sócio-administrador da empresa. Ele disse que a reprovação aconteceu pela falta de comprovantes de que a peça foi exibida sem cobrar ingressos, o que era uma exigência do contrato.
O advogado Luiz Henrique Lanas Soares Cabral, um dos titulares do escritório Lanas Pequini & Toro Advogados, que representa Regina Duarte, afirma que a pendência da atriz com o governo em razão de contas recusadas na Lei Rouanet não será um impeditivo para que ela assuma a Secretaria Especial da Cultura. “Não há nenhuma vedação legal que impeça a Regina de assumir”, afirmou à colunista Mônica Bergamo, da Folha de S.Paulo.
