O prefeito Arthur Neto e a mulher dele, a famosa Betinha, fizeram de tudo para que a verdadeira marchinha da Banda da Bica 2020 não viesse à tona, e menos ainda que se tornasse a marchinha oficial da banda.
Nesse último caso, Arthur e Betinha saíram vitoriosos, após ameaçarem não conceder licença e também retirar o patrocínio para o palco, iluminação e som.
A marchinha oficial da Banda da Bica será outra, uma marchinha sem humor, sem ironia, sem sátira, sem vida, quebrando uma tradição que acompanha a banda desde que ela foi criada.
O que Arthur e Betinha não contavam é que os “biqueiros-raízes” vazariam a autêntica marchinha da Banda da Bica – a marchinha que Arthur e Betinha tentaram a todo custo censurar: “No Reinado do Rei Arthur a Betinha também mete a mão e livra o filho criminoso da prisão“.
