Na manhã desta terça-feira (11), o Partido Progressista (PP), no Estado do Amazonas, informou ao presidente da Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (ALEAM), Josué Neto, a expulsão do deputado Estadual Dermilson Chagas.
O comunicado da expulsão foi assinado pelo deputado federal Átila Lins, e diz que Dermilson Chagas não obedece às recomendações e orientação da sigla e que por voto ou atitude, não segue o estatuto do partido.
Dermilson Chagas é um dos únicos opositores ao governo Wilson Lima (PSC) e ganhou a antipatia dos irmãos Átila Lins e Belarmino Lins, que hoje comandam o PP no estado.
Dermilson afirmou que sua expulsão é retaliação direta a sua atuação como deputado que denúncia irregularidades no governo e que há jurisprudência que garante a ele permanecer exercendo o mandato. “Estou tranquilo porque há jurisprudência para a manutenção do cargo. E hoje minha atuação dentro do parlamento me trouxe essa expulsão. Tenho tempo para pensar e decidir pelo novo partido”, disse Dermilson.
“Eu fui expulso (do PP) por não concordar com o governo do Estado, por não concordar com os escândalos na educação, com escândalos na saúde. Eu fui expulso porque estou do lado da sociedade. Inclusive me mandaram recorrer, entrando com recurso na Casa Civil. Olha a situação que eu estou passando por defender a sociedade, por defender o povo. Eu votei aqui contra os absurdos do governo que está aí instalado. Eu não fui expulso por mal comportamento. Então estou tranquilo”, justificou Chagas dizendo que não corre risco de perda do mandato.
O deputado informou que já recebeu convites para entrar em novo partido e que vai continuar denunciando o descaso do governo. “Estou fazendo o meu dever e vou continuar fazendo o meu dever denunciando o descaso. Sou vítima porque sou oposição ao governo do Estado”, disse.
