Clube rebateu críticas feitas pelo apresentador
O Clube de Regatas do Flamengo emitiu uma nota em repúdio às declarações de Fausto Silva, durante o Domingão do Faustão, na Rede Globo. O apresentador disse que a diretoria do time agiu de forma desrespeitosa nas negociações com as famílias dos atletas motos no incêndio no Ninho do Urubu.
Na nota, o Flamengo diz que Faustão mostrou “total desconhecimento sobre o caso” e que o mesmo agiu “de forma leviana e inconsequente”. O clube ainda reiterou que o apresentou “destilou uma série de acusações infundadas que, além de atacar a honra dos dirigentes, acabaram também por atingir a imagem da instituição Flamengo”.
O apresentador Fausto Silva desconhece, ou preferiu omitir, todo o trabalho que o Flamengo tem feito para minimizar os efeitos desta que foi a maior tragédia do Clube em seus 124 anos de existência. Não falou que 19 famílias e meia, das 26 atingidas pela tragédia, já entraram em acordo no que diz respeito às indenizações.
Que o Flamengo, desde o primeiro momento da tragédia, trouxe familiares de todas as vítimas para o Rio de Janeiro e os hospedou em um hotel para que pudessem acompanhar de perto as apurações das autoridades competentes. O mesmo aconteceu com as famílias residentes no Rio de Janeiro – diz a nota.
O clube ainda informou que, desde fevereiro de 2019, vem pagando uma ajuda às famílias e que ofereceu um valor muito superior ao determinado pela Justiça.
Além da ajuda finaneira, o Flamengo disse que disponibilizou apoio médico, pedagógico, psicológico e social para as vítimas e seus familiares.
Todos estes pontos poderiam ser facilmente levantados pela equipe de produção da Rede Globo de Televisão antes das acusações. Como isto não foi feito, infelizmente nos leva a crer que tamanha agressividade tem como pano de fundo interesses comerciais não atendidos e que se sobrepõem ao trabalho de informar corretamente aos telespectadores.
Isto, ao nosso ver, constitui abuso de direito e tentativa de indução negativa da opinião pública, algo inadmissível do ponto de vista moral e ético.
Por fim, o Flamengo reitera que sempre esteve – e continua – à inteira disposição das famílias para o diálogo e assim seguirá até que todas sejam indenizadas de forma justa.
