O choro de um menino de 9 anos em um vídeo tem provocado comoção entre os australianos nos últimos dias. Nas imagens, Quaden Bayles chora dentro de um carro enquanto é filmado por sua mãe, Yarraka.
O menino nasceu com acondroplasia, um tipo de nanismo, e é alvo recorrente de bullying na escola onde estuda, na cidade de Brisbane.
Os dois são de origem aborígene, “Eu quero que as pessoas saibam — pais, educadores, professores — que este é o efeito que o bullying tem. É isto que o bullying faz. Então, por favor, eduquem seus filhos, suas famílias, seus amigos, porque só é necessário um instante…E vocês se perguntam por que as crianças estão se matando”, narra a mãe enquanto o filho chora.
“Neste momento, eu queria esfaquear meu coração”, desabafa o filho. À National Indigenous TV (NITV), a mãe afirmou que ele já tentou tirar a própria vida em diversas ocasiões desde os seis anos.
“Eu costumava dizer para ele ignorar. Bem, não. Ignorar esta p… não resolve o problema. Como você vai corrigir o bullying se você escolhe ignorá-lo?”, diz Yarraka no vídeo.
“Isso precisa ser corrigido agora e é isso que estou fazendo neste momento. Toda vez que acontecer, farei um vídeo ao vivo para as pessoas saberem. Então, espero que possamos ter algumas mudanças, para que isso não aconteça com outra família, e espero que não precisemos perder outra vida inocente para o bullying”, acrescenta ela.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. I think what you said made a lot of sense. However, what about this? what if you were to create a awesome post title? I am not saying your content isn’t good, but what if you added a title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You should look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they create article headlines to grab viewers interested. You might add a video or a picture or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.|
