Chega de esperar horas, ou dias, para receber uma transferência, ou depósito bancário. O Banco Central do Brasil determinou que as instituições serão obrigadas a oferecer aos clientes o sistema de pagamento instantâneo (Pix).
Por esse sistema, o dinheiro enviado terá que cair na conta do correntista em até 10 segundos, a qualquer hora do dia, ou da noite.
A boa nova deve começar a partir de 16 novembro deste ano.
Bancos grandes
Todas as grandes instituições financeiras, com mais de 500 mil contas, serão obrigadas a aderir Pix, como foi batizado.
De acordo com o Banco Central a nova plataforma poderá ser usada para realizar depósitos e transferências e pagamentos de contas e permitirá transações imediatas entre contas correntes com uso de QR Code.
João Manoel Pinho de Mello, diretor do BCB, disse não está estipulado quem pagará o custo da transação, que poderá recair sobre o comprador, ou sobre o vendedor, seguindo uma lógica de mercado.
Testes
Atualmente, o Pix está em fase de testes.
A ferramenta será usada tanto por bancos tradicionais, como por novos tipos de instituições financeiras, como fintechs, que trabalham com contas e com carteiras digitais, o Nubank, por exemplo.
Com a novidade, o Banco Central pretende substituir as transações feitas com dinheiro em espécie ou por meio de transferências bancárias, como TED – Transferência Eletrônica Disponível – e DOC – Documento de Ordem de Crédito.
