Essa edição do evento marca o retorno da festa ao Sambódromo, que contará ainda com uma homenagem ao Pop da Selva, Arlindo Jr.
Manaus – De volta ao calendário oficial de eventos do Amazonas, e também de volta ao Sambódromo, o Carnaboi será realizado nesta segunda-feira (24), com início às 18h e entrada gratuita. Em sua 20ª edição, a festa terá 10 horas de programação com 35 artistas que vão se revezar num palco em formato 360º, que permite uma interação maior dos artistas com o público.
“A partir do Carnaboi, a gente lança toda a programação prevista para o Festival Folclórico de Parintins, que acontece em junho de 2020”, destaca o secretário de Cultura e Economia Criativa, Marcos Apolo Muniz.
Homenagem
Um dos pontos altos da noite será a homenagem a Arlindo Jr., ícone do boi-bumbá, falecido em dezembro de 2019. “O Arlindo foi a minha maior inspiração, é um amigo que sempre vai ficar na memória. Ele conseguiu desbravar esse ritmo para todo o Brasil e fez com que nós tivéssemos esse som mais pop, uma toada diferenciada”, comenta Fabiano Neves.
Atrações
A festa começará com os bois-bumbás de Manaus: Brilhante, Garanhão e Corre Campo. Na sequência, os artistas dividirão o palco, revezando repertório de Caprichoso e Garantido. Serão sempre duas atrações, com mais uma participação especial. PA Chaves e Fábio Casagrande, que convidam Itamar Benarroz; Vanessa Alfaia e Mara Lima, que recebem Jardel Bentes; Márcia Siqueira e Márcia Novo, que têm Black Marialva como convidado; Canto da Mata e Fabiano Neves, com participação de Cézar Pinheiro; Leonardo Castelo e Robson Júnior, com A Toada; e Edilson Santana e Helen Veras convidam o grupo Kaboclos.
No meio da festa, haverá uma apresentação de Sebastião Júnior, Gaspar Medeiros, Israel Paulain e Batucada, itens oficiais do Garantido; e de David Assayag, Prince do Boi, Edmundo Oran e Marujada, do Caprichoso.
As últimas atrações da noite serão Carlinhos do Boi e Carlos Batata, com participação da Kamayurá; Júnior Paulain e Carrapicho, que receberão Paulinho Viana no palco.
