Em Manaus, o arcebispo Dom Leonardo Steiner realizou uma celebração para a abertura da campanha na Igreja Nossa Senhora dos Remédios
Manaus – O tema da Campanha da Fraternidade 2020 foi lançado pela Igreja Católica, na manhã desta quarta-feira (26), em todo o Brasil. Na capital amazonense, o arcebispo Dom Leonardo Steiner realizou uma celebração para a abertura da campanha na Igreja Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, Centro. Este ano, o tema escolhido é ‘Fraternidade e vida: dom e compromisso’ e o lema é ‘Viu, sentiu compaixão e cuidou dele’.
O objetivo do tema escolhido para este ano é criar uma reflexão sobre o significado da vida em diversas dimensões, como pessoal, comunitária, social e ecológica. Para o arcebispo de Manaus, a campanha dá a oportunidade de abordar uma realidade da sociedade que necessita de transformação, por isso é feita durante o tempo da Quaresma.
“Nós vivemos numa relação profunda com diversas dimensões da vida. Que a Campanha da Fraternidade nos ajude a despertar para essa grandeza, que aprendamos a cuidar da vida. Existe muita violência, muita morte, muito sangue, porque não estamos cuidando da vida”, disse.
O cartaz de divulgação da campanha faz uma homenagem a Irmã Dulce, canonizada no dia 13 de outubro de 2019, sendo a primeira mulher nascida no Brasil a se tornar santa. Irmã Dulce aparece junto com crianças, adultos, idosos e doentes, nas ruas do centro histórico de Salvador.
