Manaus – O Amazonas Futebol Clube (Amazonas FC) venceu, na noite desta quinta-feira (27), o Nacional Futebol Clube (Nacional FC) por 4 a 2 e garantiu vaga na final do primeiro turno do Campeonato Amazonense de 2020, no próximo domingo (1º), às 16h, na Arena da Amazônia Vivaldo Lima, no bairro Flores, Zona Centro-Sul de Manaus.
Com o feito, a “Onça-Pintada” da Zona Leste de Manaus agora tem pela frente o atual tricampeão amazonense, o Manaus Futebol Clube (Manaus FC), “Gavião do Norte”, que garantiu vaga na final ao eliminar o Fast Clube ontem (26), com o empate de 1 a 1, na Arena da Amazônia Vivaldo Lima.
Em toda a história, os times se enfrentaram apenas uma vez, em jogo na Arena da Amazônia, pela fase classificatória do primeiro turno do Barezão 2020. Na ocasião, em meio ao jogo polêmico de três pênaltis, a partida terminou empata em 1 a 1.
O Amazonas FC foi fundado em 2019 e logo de cara conquistou o título da primeira competição oficial que disputou: a Série B do Campeonato Amazonense, ao vencer o São Raimundo, o “Tufão da Colina”.
O planejamento do clube é conquistar o título da Série A do Barezão, ganhar a vaga para disputar a Série D do Campeonato Brasileiro e traçar o mesmo caminho que ultimamente o Manaus FC busca: subir de etapas na competição nacional que mais bem ranqueia clubes na Confederação Brasileira de Futebol.
